In China there is a child population with special needs, through our efforts we are trying to work with them, they have no appropriate place to live, not enough food to eat.
They survive by begging or are manipulated to steal, they have been roaming around in the street for either a couple of days or a couple months or many years.
They are not ready to return home, there is no permanent or suitable placement for them to settle down with a long-term development program, many of them have been accustomed to abandonment and rejection by their family or society, they are known as social outcasts.
In order to survive these children have to give up their dignity, not to mention the so-called basic rights that all people have with their birth. These children are "Street Children" visible around us at any time, in all cities and they have been marginalized, ignored and neglected by our society.
